Awards Announced for Trick Shot Contest The PoolStars trick shot contest brought out the creative side in players. Seeking to win one the 11 cash prizes on offer from a prize pool of $2500, over 35 people submitted videos for the contest. It is certainly not the easiest, nor quickest task to produce a video. Especially one where you maddeningly have to craft it out of original material that is difficult to execute.

There were many great videos to enjoy which made the choice for PoolStarspro Nick van den Berg excruciatingly tough to decide on. The final 11 were decided based on member votes, possibly proving that democracy might not always work. (There were so many inspired ones to vote on.) Nick van Berg's job was simply to find the top-3 while the remaining eight entries were relegated to an "honourable mention" and $50.

One person however, would take home the grand prize of $1500. Redhouse from Norway won the grand prize and bragging rights to the rest of the PoolStars community. A difficult choice, but a well deserved winner. Rounding out the top-3 were Trickhot058 of Netherlands, and Tombuzz of Germany. A complete list of winners and payouts can be found below.
