Tell me, when was the first(or last) time you EVER saw anyone in a pool hall hold their cue straight above the cue ball to aim their shot? I've seen it in golf tournys when the golfer wants a better view of how the hook will be when they hit the ball.......but for cryin' out loud, never in my wildest dreams did I ever see anyone do this in billiards..........If this place is going towards a more realistic online way of shooting pool, WTF!

Maybe you played with beginner player, who just learned aiming?

You mean, what some one raising cue stick to maximum and then aiming? But did it help?

To aim in poolstars, it is much more easy to lower your cue stik as low, as it possible. Then you will get better view of game field, the camera will be raised over stick, and you can see other balls. To aim properly, you need to hold rigth mouse button and move mouse left or rigth. Then camera will move with the sitck and will rotate around withe ball. You will see a part of you target ball, and can easy imagine, where they will contact.

It so easy and natural, what i just can imagine, what some one will try use someting else for aiming. What they will get from this?

no DASH, it wasnt a beginner. This person utilized the upward position of the cue to aim at the ball, then execute his/her shot. Amazingly enough, it was 90% accurate, except when in a hurry. I may get upset over this, and I apollogize for it. Its just not a common thing to see, and it goes COMPLETELY against what you folks are trying to do for the on-line pool shooting community. Althought this game will probably never come close to actually having a cue in your hand, the programmers are doing an Excellent job at getting close to it, and I get upset when I see something as simple as this aiming technique being exploited. I think this shouldnt be a problem, the top players dont use this aiming technique cause its not the best one... The guys using this might me making balls, but it doesnt make it any easier...
