The rules cover the general issues relating specifically to tournament play. All game rules applying to play and PS$ matches apply to tournaments except as defined and noted here. Promotional tournaments such as WSOP qualifiers, and the Weekly Leaderboard finals may alter some rules at their discretion. If there are any differences from these rules they would be noted on the page specific to the promotion.
Sit 'N' Go Tournaments
- A Sit āNā Go tournament will commence immediately following registration completion. Players will not be able to unregister after a Sit 'N' Go tournament has filled.
- The break and draw is determined randomly at the start of the tournament. As each round progresses the break and draw will be taken randomly again at the start of each round. You have the same chance of breaking and facing any other remaining player in every round. The draw is not based on a bracket.
- Players will have a limited time to complete the game in addition to a shot timer. This is to prevent players from intentionally delaying the start of the next round indefinitely.
- Agreements or bets in chat are not binding and not permitted. No deals are allowed in any tournament.
- Players must conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times. Exceptional disruptive behavior, not limited to only chat, can be considered grounds for disqualification at the discretion of PoolStars.
- Sit 'N' Go tournaments pay the top 25% percent of players according to our tournament pay scale.
- Ratings will be affected with each match played. Each matchup in a tournament is treated as a 1-1 match for purposes of rating.
