Cashier Overview

The PoolStars cashier utilizes two balances consisting of play money and real money (our currency is US$).

Play money or "fun money" is simply for fun and has no value. You can restore your balance whenever it falls below 1,000. You can use it to play any play money game or tournament. Some real money promotions offered may incorporate play money games, so it may be possible to win real money by playing for free.

Real money (US$) is used to purchase things in the PoolStars store as well as to compete with in real money games. You can deposit money into your account on the deposit/cashout page. In addition, you can earn real money for your account through affiliate promotions. Of course your winnings in real money games also accumulate in your account.

Play Money

  • Completely free.
  • Unlimited reloading of any balance below 1,000.
  • Can use to play any game that utilizes play money.
  • Does not count for ratings.
  • Various gameplay features disabled including jump, break, and artifact cues.

Real Money (US$)

  • Used to purchase merchandise in the PoolStars store.
  • Primary currency for games and tournaments.
  • Can be used to enter tournaments that offer real money or prize packages.
  • Earned from refer-a-friend program, freeroll tournaments, and affiliate programs.

Deposits

Rules

Deposits can be made via credit card by clicking "Deposit" in the website or software cashier where it shows your existing balance. There is no fee to deposit money. Your account will be credited with a balance in US dollars regardless of the currency in which you pay our cashier. The amount of the deposit will be determined using an exchange rate prevailing on the day of deposit.

You are required to maintain valid contact information in order to make deposits into your account. The address in your PoolStars account profile should match the billing address of the credit card you are using. Incorrect address information could result in your deposit request being declined. Successful PayPal deposits require successful authentication through PayPal.

Limits

  1. The minimum deposit is $15.
  2. The maximum deposit is $100 per day.
  3. The maximum total deposit per week is $500.
  4. All deposits are converted to US$ using a prevailing exchange rate on the day.
  5. Requests for higher purchase limits can be made by contacting payments@poolstars.com.
Availability

Only some countries are supported for deposits using our current payment processors. We will add more countries as soon as more payment options become available.

Withdrawals

To make a withdrawal simply click "Cashout" in the cashier found in either the software or website.

  1. The minimum withdrawal is $10.
  2. The maximum withdrawal per request is $1000.
  3. The minimum withdrawal by cheque or wire is $50.
  4. Withdrawal by cheque or wire attracts a $25 transaction fee. Other methods do not have transaction fees.
  5. Large withdrawals may take longer since they have to be authorised by our fraud prevention team.
  6. Some of the money in your account may be classified as "free" money if it is not money that you deposited or won. For instance, freeroll money is classified as free money. You cannot withdraw free money. Free money is unlocked by betting with it and winning. The cashier will indicate how much of your account balance can be withdrawn, the remainder is classified as free money.
